Here are some new updates to share with you. On my Pregnancy: I have one (1) more week to go until I hit my 37th week. I am actually 98% ready with all the baby's stuff and my stuff, but I am 110% ready to give birth! Lately, I've been feeling sleepy more often than usual. It must be my body telling me to prepare and get ready for sleepless nights to come once our baby's out. But rest is usually out of the question since I always end up having to do something, be it urgent or just plain necessary. Last week, there have been a couple of things that suddenly needed to be done. This week, there are a lot of things that are scheduled to be done. So, as much as I'd want to give in to my body's needs, I just can't. Given this, I really think that moms are truly superwomen. It's just amazing where we get the extra (hidden) energy to do so many things for our family in such little time, pregnant or not. By the way, we visited my OB-gyn yesterday and learned that I am already 1cm dilated. My doctor asked me to hold on for six (6) more days just to hit my 37th week. I'll try, but I was right. I'll be giving birth real soon. This is our baby's update: At 36 weeks On my Family: Our boys have been sleeping in their rooms for more than a week now but we still transfer them to our room once they've fallen asleep. At least they've gotten the hang of the change. Our next step will be to let them sleep in their room until they wake up in the morning already. Honestly, it will be a difficult adjustment for me. Yes, for me. I've been so used to having the kids stay with us in our bedroom. I get to check on them in the middle of the night and in the wee hours of the morning. I see to it that they have a blanket over them (though they keep removing it themselves) or at least make sure that their backs or tummies are not exposed to the cold. When DL1 has allergy attacks, I make sure that he doesn't rub his nose to the point of getting nosebleeds. When DL2 has a bad cough or cold, I see to it that he stays propped up on his pillow to allow better air circulation to his lungs. I also check on their disposables to see when it's time to change them. So, with all these things I normally do, how am I to do them when the boys sleep in their own room? I guess I'll just figure it out once the complete adjustment happens, maybe in a day or two (2). Wish me luck! On BY NATURE: I have already ceased production temporarily in order to give way to preparing for our baby's arrival. I am really hoping that I was able to make enough handmade soaps to meet everyone's orders for Christmas, as well as after the holidays. Bulk orders have started coming in early this year. For my 100% Natural Products, there won't be much of a problem with stocks since I will still be able to make them during my maternity leave, maybe with just some slight delay, depending on how much time our new baby would require from me. View my Christmas packages here and the list of pick-up points here (especially for the bulky packages). For orders, you may get in touch with My Resellers. |
