Dr. Edwards Sterilized Drinking Water is a life-saver! Well, that's a little bit exaggerated, but it has helped prevent more diarrhea episodes for DL1 when he was still a baby. Since that terrible incident, I never risked using tap water to sterilize and clean anything he will put in his mouth. Once you experience your baby going through diarrhea, you will be so thankful for Dr. Edwards. Besides, the pedia also requires that even distilled water must be boiled for 10-15 minutes before giving it to babies. The hassle of boiling and cooling the water...might as well get something that's sterilized and ready to drink. It's unforgettable how it all happened, how DL1, at only three (3) months, ended up with amoebiasis and how kawawa our baby was while he went through it. All because I cleaned his pacifier using boiled tap water. And when I think about it now, he never really liked using a pacifier at all. Tsk, tsk, tsk... DL1 continued to take Dr. Edwards until he reached one (1) year old. I used it for his water supply, to mix with Cerelac when he started with solids at six (6) months old, and for his formula when he weaned from breast milk. It made everything so convenient, especially when you immediately need water for your baby. Now that we have DL2, we're back to ordering Dr. Edwards and we just made our 3rd bulk purchase. He drinks a lot of water and I'm not taking the chance of trying any other drinking water for him. Besides, since I still breastfeed him, we don't have to use Dr. Edwards for milk formula, only for his regular water intake and for his food. Once he's a year old, which is not too far away, he can start drinking regular water (those from water stations) already. For sure, we'll be back for more Dr. Edwards Sterilized Drinking Water when we have our next baby. . |

actually, dr. edwards IS for babies. that's why they only come in small bottles so the water won't be stored too long once opened.
our pedia would still recommend bottled water brands like wilkins to be sterilized--has sle, right?
Was researching about amoebiasis and your page was listed.
Monica has amoebiasis right now and i feel terrible about it. What medications did your son take before?
Thanks!
i'll e-mail you the meds. i don't want to seem like i'm prescribing meds here in my site. but please check with her pedia as well.
i hope she gets better soon.
