Introducing my two (2) new salves!... Cold Salve
This salve can help bring relief to nasal congestion for both kids and adults. Simply use as a chest and back rub. For massage, blend with a little base oil for easier application. May also help relax muscles, fight nausea and motion sickness, and ease cough and colds. Use or apply only when needed. For babies or young children, consult a physician before use. For external use only. Keep away from direct heat. Ingredients: Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Grapeseed Oil, Organic Sesame Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Beeswax, Pure Peppermint Essential Oil, Pure Eucalyptus Essential Oil, Pure Lavender Essential Oil, Pure Decongestant Essential Oils, Vitamin E and White Salve
The perfect salve to prevent and heal diaper rash. Apply liberally on your baby's bottoms after cleaning and before putting on the diaper to keep the skin protected from wetness. Frequent application will keep baby's skin moisturized as well. This may also be used as an intesive sunblock for the face and neck. Serves as an aid for healing wounds, too. Use as often for best results. For external use only. Keep away from direct heat. Ingredients: Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Grapeseed Oil, Organic Sesame Oil, Zinc Oxide, Beeswax, Organic Olive Butter, Chamomile Extract, Calendula Extract, Acapulco Extract, Vitamin E Finally, these salves have become a reality after months and months and months of having thought of making them. I actually made my very first Cold Salve about two (2) years ago. It was just for personal use for my kids then. With White Salve, I made it especially for our 3rd baby. I wanted to avoid having to use this imported diaper rash cream since it contains chemical preservatives, petrolatum, talc, fragrance, lanolin, and parabens. Aside from protecting my baby's bottoms from getting rashes, I was also protecting him from those harmful ingredients. Anyway, let me share my personal experiences with the two (2) salves: Cold Salve This product has been very helpful whenever my kids are congested at night, which usually happens during the rainy season and "-ber" months. What I do is, I apply Cold Salve on their backs and on their chests, and a little on their necks and the tip of their noses. Instantly, they get to breath much better. I sometimes massage it on them (I add some base oil) to help them sleep better, too. Of course, this won't serve as a remedy for serious congestion due to sinusitis or other nasal inflammations. It would, however, bring some relief to the child for a better night's sleep. The kids love it because of its scent and the cool feeling it gives their skin. It also soothes and relaxes them so they look forward to it before going to bed (when they have stuffy nose). It doesn't leave a "stinging" sensation unlike other strong cold rubs do so it's very fit for young users. My baby's yaya uses this during long road trips. She says it helps lessen her nausea and motion sickness. She applies it right below her nose and on her temples. White Salve As mentioned above, this salve I made for our youngest boy, DL3. The very first pot I made was a few weeks before he was born, so I was able to use it on his very soft, sensitive, wrinkled bottoms from the very start. It really helped keep his skin protected from wetness and from his "wet" bowels, since he's purely breastfed (including the sticky meconium at the beginning). White Salve was always applied right after cleaning his bottoms. This kept him from having diaper rash (as in none at all). I just made sure that every part (even the sensitive areas) that would have contact with his urine or bowel were covered with White Salve. It easily spreads, especially once it's warmed on one's skin. I also used it on myself and on DL3's body when we went to the beach. Since White Salve has a very high concentration of zinc oxide, it was the perfect sunblock for my baby and for my sensitive skin on the face. Cold Salve and White Salve may now be orders through My Resellers. |
